Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle therapy applied to an often neglected body tissue. This hands-on technique consists of gentle rhythmic strokes in the direction of the lymph flow. Lymphatic work helps by flushing out toxins, excess fluid and foreign particles from congested areas creating a deep cleansing and stimulating the fluid systems of the body on all levels.


When toxins accumulate in the body the lymph moves increasingly more slowly causing the lymph system to become clogged. A Lymph Drainage treatment encourages the lymph to move causing the lymph system to work far more efficiently. It decreases swelling. The results can be seen immediately. Lymph Drainage builds the immune system bringing the body into a state of rest and repair. This is a highly effective technique for purifying and rejuvenating the body.

The lymphatic system is an essential part of the immune system, which helps the body fight infections and cancers. The lymphatic system consists of a network of vessels that drain fluid (lymph) into nodes, larger fluid-containing lymph ducts, and specialized organs involved in the immune system. Lymph nodes are small bean shaped glands that filter impurities picked up by lymphatic fluid. The immune system protects the body against infections, bacteria, viruses and other parasites. Lymphatic fluid (also called lymph) is rich in blood cells that fight infection and an important part of the body's immune system.
